I wanted an assault pack to use as a field medical kit. I went with the Orca because I already have several of their molle pouches and really like them. The backpack is another super high-quality item from Orca. Their customer service, shipping speed, and overall quality is always top notch. Everything I have ever bought from Orca has been a fantastic, highly functional, and very durable item. I'm always amazed at how much quality Orca delivers at such low prices. Orca has made a loyal customer out of me. I will definitely be purchasing more things from them in the future.
I㒓沸 a ups driver have had this bag for 2 years now. Last September I was in a motorcycle accident broken leg thrown from bike into a fence and the only thing that happened to the bag was one shoulder strap ripped which I sewed back together. Still my daily bag I love it.
I have been using the Orca Tactical SALISH 40L MOLLE 3 Day Military Backpack for the past several months and have found it too be of top of the line material, great zipper quality, plenty of room for everything I need for my weekly work travels. I use it each week for work as I travel throughout the Southern United States and it has been one of the best packs I have used to date, better than others I have tried in the past. With the expandable cinch straps I can pack it full of clothes and travel items I need and as the trip gets longer I can cinch down the straps when the pack is less full and it is still a great fit full or empty. I high recommend the 40L.
I will be experimenting with the 34L next. I am also a huge fan of the new water hydration / water bottle pouch as it is a great addition to my gear. One for a water bottle and one for a Alcohol Stove and Stanley Cook Set.; works great for my travels. and adventures.
I just received my backpack. I could not be more pleased. The construction and stitching feel solid and it is very comfortable on my body.
It has plenty of room for my camera equipment, note pads and field gear, but will be great as a travel bag as well. I can't wait to get it in the field or on a plane.
